About Marina Mathews
Marina Mathews is a PR & Marketing veteran. She has been in the industry for over 20 years and has worked within agency and in-house roles in Australia and the Middle East. In 2006, she decided to throw an anchor down in Singapore, and within six months established her own boutique PR firm. She has since worked with Fulford PR and MSL Group based in Singapore, before re-establishing the Chrysler Communications brand.
Marina loves working with international brands who are looking to set-up shop in Singapore. The process of helping them adapt and localise in a new market, is where her expertise lies. She is a master at matching a company’s brand message to a specific market, while creating a whole new awareness for the company and their products or services.
Issues management, business growth, strategic campaign development and mentoring young PR professionals are just some of the key strengths Marina possesses. She is passionate about targeted publicity that enhances brands and the individuals behind them as industry leaders.
Marina is an advocate of the arts and education. She is a Board Member of Sing Lit Station, whose mission is to grow the local literary community. Marina also commits time to working with the Media Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS) leading their annual Awards Judging Panel.
PR Week Global Power Book 2015 listed Marina as one of the Top 300 most influential PR professionals globally.
On the home front, Marina is a mother to two young boys who have inherited her curious nature, adventure seeking spirit, and a love of a good book.
